Release September 2024 - Improved Absence tracking and Projects on the go

  • Updated

Enhanced feature: More flexibility in adding and displaying absences

We are happy to announce that this month you will have new options viewing planned absences and record absences in the future in a more flexible way and on all three platforms (iOS, Android and WEB).

Key benefits:

  • iOS provides the same projects / absence overview, that was already available for Android and the WEB interface since July. This overview provides the option to display a consolidated view of time recorded per project and all past and planned absences for a certain timeframe.
  • iOS provides the quick action menu in order to access main functions from the crew list to quickly perform fitting actions based on the selected day and employees like create work / absence periods, approve / un-approve.

  • We added the option to create part time absences in the future. You can use this option for recording absences that only last a few hours like a doctors appointment or a training.

NOTES:

If LIVE tracking collides with a recorded part day absence in the future, the LIVE recording will be stopped and back dated within 30 min of the overlap, in order to avoid conflicts of time recording and absences.

New Feature: Create Projects on the go (Android)

With our first September release, we introduce a new feature which allows to create new projects on the go from your mobile phone.

Key Benefits:

  • Create projects on the go from your Android phone in the project selection panel.
  • Settings to allow the project creation on mobile. Admins can decide which user roles are enabled for project creation on mobile via the company settings.

NOTES:

  • The feature is currently only available on Android. We are bringing the feature also to iOS in one of the upcoming releases.
  • Projects can only be edited on the WEB interface after they have been created.
