How to track Time in POST Mode

In this article we will explore how different users can track and edit time entries on the Mobile and Web App in POST Mode.

 

How to use the Mobile App for Time Tracking in POST Mode

Roles: Admin, Supervisor, Employee | Interface: Mobile

The POST Mode in our Mobile App allows users to record their work hours in hindsight.

 

For Employees

Open the “Timesheets” tab on the bottom right corner. This is where you can manage your time entries. Within the "Timesheets" section, choose the specific day for which you want to add a time entry. You will now see a summary of existing entries. You can either edit them by tapping the three dots on the right side of the time entry or you can add new entries by tapping on the “Add time entry” button on the bottom of the screen.

For Supervisors and Admins

If you are a Supervisor or an Admin, you can follow the same steps as the Employee. In addition, you are required to select an employee for which you want to add or edit a time entry after selecting the specific day.

 

If you want to add time entries for multiple workers, select the "Crew" tab in the bottom middle part of the screen. First select the day on the top, then the employees and click on the “Add time report” button. In case a time report has already been recorded, it will be overwritten. Ongoing LIVE tracking will not be overwritten.

NOTES:

  • Admins can edit and add time entries for all employees. Supervisors can edit and add time entries for their Crew, so for all employees that have been assigned to them.
  • If a time entry has been approved or locked, you cannot edit them anymore.

 

How to use the Web App for Time Tracking in POST Mode

Roles: Admin, Supervisor | Interface: Web

The POST Mode in our Web App allows Admins and Supervisors to manage time entries in hindsight.

Open the “Timesheets” tab on the left part of the screen. In the top right corner of the "Timesheets" page, you will find an option to select the week you want to work on. Now you can select a specific day for a specific employee. You will now see a summary of existing time entries for that day. You can edit them by tapping on the three dots on the right side of the time entry. To add a new entry, click on the “Add time entry” button.

NOTE:
