2026.02 Release: Mobile time tracking, unbranded diary prints, geolocation live, photo library upgrades, faster clock-ins

  • Updated

Overview

This article summarizes the latest CrewCenter updates released in February 2026. The improvements enhance reporting, streamline project setup, improve geolocation and time‑tracking accuracy, and introduce helpful UI updates across Web, Android, and iOS.

Note: Feature availability may vary depending on subscription tier and platform.

Construction diary printouts without Hilti logo

Interface: Web

The construction diary print view no longer includes the Hilti logo or the CrewCenter title. Reports now display only your own company logo.

Note: The construction diary article will be published shortly.

Bulk cost code assignment for faster project setup

Interface: Web

You can now assign multiple Cost Codes at once to one or more projects in a single action. This significantly speeds up project setup for projects with large Cost Code lists while keeping all existing allocations unchanged.

Geolocation feature now out of Beta

Interface: Web, Android, iOS

Extended Location Data Retention

Location data is now securely stored for 90 days, giving you greater flexibility and easier access to your recent activity.

Performance Enhancements

Several behind‑the‑scenes optimizations deliver a smoother, faster, and more reliable experience.

New Day/Week Filter

You can now filter your data by day or week for improved visibility and navigation.

Admin Controls for Map View

Admins can enable or disable the map view directly in Settings. Availability depends on tenant‑level access to the feature.

Important Note

Location data collected during the beta phase will not be migrated. To use the improved functionality, you must start fresh location tracking for your clock‑in and clock‑out events.

Automatic reuse of previous employee selection for new clock‑ins

Interface: Android

CrewCenter now remembers the employee selection from the previous Live Tracking session and automatically applies it to the next clock‑in. The crew count is shown, and only valid employees are carried forward if any previous members have become invalid.

Real working time at a glance

Interface: Android, iOS

The Total Time header now displays only working hours. Absences appear separately under a new Total Absences field wherever total time is shown. This ensures consistent time calculations across Web and Mobile and reduces confusion between field and office staff.

Photo library improvements: Full‑Size Photo Viewer with quick edit and delete

Interface: Android, iOS

Photos can now be opened in a full‑size detail view showing the complete image plus key information such as date and project. You can:
  • Swipe through your gallery
  • Edit the photo’s date or project
  • Delete individual photos with a confirmation step to avoid accidental removal
