How to Understand Approval and Locking
Although approval and locking are usually performed one after another, they serve different purposes.
Approval
Roles: Supervisor, Admin | Interface: Web, Mobile
As a supervisor or administrator, you approve timesheets to verify recorded time and absences before payroll processing. This step confirms all entries are reviewed and accepted. Approved timesheets can be unapproved if corrections are required before the final lock. Once a timesheet has been approved, employees can no longer add, edit, or delete entries unless the approval is removed.
Locking
Roles: Admin | Interface: Web
As an administrator, you can lock timesheets to finalize data for payroll and prevent further modifications.
Once locked, entries cannot be edited or deleted. On mobile, locked items are highlighted to indicate they are read-only.

How to Identify Partially Locked Timesheets
Roles: Supervisor, Admin | Interface: Mobile
As a supervisor or administrator, you can use partial lock indicators to identify timesheets that are not yet fully finalized.
Employee-Level Indicator
Displayed when only some days within an employee's week are locked.
Day-Level Indicator
Displayed when not all employees' timesheets for a specific day are locked.
The grey tick indicator shows where reviews, approvals, or entries are still needed before final administrative locking. It is available on both Android and iOS to help users track missing approvals or entries.

How to Export Weekly Timesheets
Roles: Admin | Interface: Web
As an administrator, you can export timesheet data to external ERP and payroll systems, such as Moser Software (MOS'aik). To create the custom report please contact support or SDM (Sales Development Manager).
Only finalized and locked data should be exported.
