Overview
This release enhances workforce planning, field productivity, and reporting transparency. It introduces 2027 schedule management, improves Construction Diary location tracking and time handling, and gives field workers faster access to project contacts and navigation. Here are the changes included in this CrewCenter release:
Working Schedules: Admins can now create and manage working schedules for 2027, enabling proactive workforce planning for the upcoming year.
Construction Diary: Project location is now displayed on diary report headers and included in PDF exports for better site identification.
Projects on Mobile: A new Project Details screen provides quick access to project info, navigation apps, and direct contact options for Project Managers.
Timesheet Exports: Admins can include Project Name and Project Location in employee timesheet exports with per-project hour breakdowns.
Construction Diary: The "Show Excluded Time" setting is now respected across Web and Mobile, with clear labeling to distinguish excluded entries from payable totals.
Work List: Durations for Cost Codes, Custom time types, and C&Q are now visible directly in the Work list columns without opening the side panel.
2027 Working Schedules
Roles: Admin | Interface: Web
Admins can now proactively plan for the upcoming year by creating and managing working schedules for 2027. A new 2027 tab is available in the Working Schedules section, allowing for schedule creation, employee assignments, and template downloads specifically for the 2027 calendar year. Existing schedules for 2025 and 2026 remain unaffected.
Project Location on Construction Diary Reports
Roles: All Users | Interface: Mobile
To provide better geographical context, the project address is now displayed directly on the Construction Diary Report header and included in the PDF export. This allows field workers and supervisors to quickly identify the site location without navigating away from the report.
Note: The location field will be hidden if no address is configured for the project.
Project Contact Actions & Details
Roles: All Users | Interface: Mobile
A new Project Details screen provides quick access to project info (address, PM details) even while offline. Users can now tap a "3-dots" icon on Project Action Cards to launch navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps) or directly contact Project Managers via Phone, Email, or Chat apps (WhatsApp, Teams, etc.).
Note: Available contact methods depend on the information provided for the Project Manager.
Project Data in Timesheet Exports
Roles: Admin | Interface: Web
Project Name and Project Location are now included by default in employee timesheet exports. The export will split timecard entries by project, providing a clear breakdown of hours worked at different sites, including the formatted project address.
Note: Overtime and planned hours are left empty for project-specific lines to avoid duplication.
Excluded Time in Construction Diary
Roles: All Users | Interface: Web + Mobile (Android)
Note: iOS version is expected soon.
The Construction Diary now respects the "Show Excluded Time" configuration across all platforms. When enabled, those time types will be visible in the diary and PDF exports with a clear "Excluded" indicator. These entries are tracked for documentation but are automatically omitted from all payable work totals, including the Employees and Cost Codes widgets. The totals label will now clearly state "Total (without excluded time)" to avoid confusion.
Note: Mobile users cannot edit the "Show Excluded Time" setting; it must be configured via the Web Template settings.
Visibility of Durations in Work List
Roles: All Users | Interface: Web
We've updated the Work list view to save you time. You can now see specific durations for Cost Codes, Custom time types, and C&Q directly in your table columns. No more opening the side panel to find details — everything is visible at a glance in a clear [Name]: [Value] format (e.g., "Framing: 8h"). If a work period includes multiple entries, they are neatly organized and separated by commas.
Note: This change currently applies only to the Work list view and does not affect the Absence list view.
