Overview

This release introduces new self-service and support features for IOS, improves export flexibility and enhances data export capabilities. Users can now contact support directly from the iOS application, request account deletion from both Web and Mobile, decide whether project information should be included in timesheet exports and export grid data as native Excel (.xlsx) files for improved compatibility and formatting.

Here are the changes included in this CrewCenter release:

  • Contact Support (iOS)(complementing the existing functionality already available on Android.): Users can contact the support team directly from the app with diagnostic information automatically attached.
  • Account Deletion Request: Users can submit account deletion requests through a secure privacy-compliant form available on Web and Mobile.
  • Project Data in Timesheet Exports: Administrators can decide whether project information should be included in employee timesheet exports.
  • Native Excel Export (.xlsx): Grid and widget data can now be exported directly to native Excel files with improved formatting and data handling.

 

In-App Support Enhancement

Roles: All Users | Interface: Mobile (iOS)

 

Following its recent release on Android, the new Contact Support option is now also available in the Profile menu on iOS devices. When creating a support request, the application automatically gathers diagnostic information such as the device model, application version, and active configuration settings. The collected information is pre-filled into a support email, helping the support team troubleshoot issues more efficiently and reducing the need for additional technical information from users.

 

Notes: 

  • An email application must be configured on the device to send the support request.
  • Diagnostic information is only collected when support is contacted through this feature.

 

Account Deletion Request

Roles: All Users | Interface: Web + Mobile (iOS & Android)

To provide greater control over personal data, a new User Account Deletion Form is now available from the side menu. Users can submit requests to delete their account through a secure external form designed to support compliance with applicable data privacy regulations.

 

 

Notes: 

  • The request process is handled through an external web form.
  • Account deletion is not processed directly within the CrewCenter application.
  • The form opens in English by default. You can change the language using the language selection menu at the bottom of the page.

Project Data in Timesheet Exports

Roles: Administrators | Interface: Web

Administrators can now decide whether project information should be included when exporting employee timesheets. A new option has been added to the export settings, allowing project names and project addresses to be either included or excluded from the exported file depending on reporting requirements.

To exclude project data from the report, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Timesheets.
  2. Select Export.
  3. Choose Employee Timesheets.
  4. Deselect the Projects information option.
  5. Export the report.

 

 

Notes:

  • The setting only affects newly generated exports.
  • Existing export files are not updated automatically.

 

Native Excel Export (.xlsx)

Roles: All Users | Interface: Web

Users can now export data from supported grids and widgets directly to native Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) format. Compared to CSV exports, the new format provides improved compatibility with Excel, preserves data types more accurately and automatically applies more suitable column widths and formatting.

The Excel format has been added to the below pages on Web:

  • Employees
  • Employees dashboard
  • Projects
  • Projects dashboard
  • Cost codes
  • Costs & quantities

 

Note: Availability depends on the specific grid or widget supporting Excel export.
