    Overview

This release improves Construction Diary and time management workflows, including clearer PDF export names and faster background PDF generation on mobile. Project Managers now can view and manage project-wide timecards on web and mobile. The updated support contact has additionally the email address and a unique customer ID in the title.

    Key Changes

    • Construction Diary: Improved PDF export file naming for Construction Diary reports.

    • Construction Diary: Background PDF generation on mobile to prevent app timeouts.

    • Project Management: Enhanced Project-Axis management allowing Project Managers to view and approve all project timecards.

    • Support Email Enhancements: Improved the "Contact Support" feature with better identification details and translated instructions.

Improved PDF Export File Naming for Construction Diary

Roles: Admin, Supervisor | Interface: Web + Mobile

The naming format for exported Construction Diary reports (daily logs of site activity) has been updated. Instead of a generic filename, each report now automatically includes the Date and Project Name (for example: 2026-10-15_ProjectName_Daily_Report.pdf).

    Notes

    • Very long project names may be shortened to fit file system limits.

    • Special characters in project names are supported but may look slightly different depending on whether you use a computer, Android or iOS device.

Faster PDF Generation for Construction Diary for Mobile

Roles: Admin, Supervisor | Interface: Mobile

Creating PDF reports on mobile now happens in the background. This means the app will no longer "freeze" or stop working while waiting for a large report to be created. You will see a status message while the report is being built, and it will automatically download once it is ready, allowing you to keep using the app in the meantime.

    Notes

    • Users on Paid subscriptions can create up to 5 reports at the same time to ensure the system remains stable.

    Project Manager Access control

Roles: Supervisors (Project Managers), Employee PMs | Interface: Web + Mobile

Supervisors who are assigned as Project Managers now have the ability to see all timecards (records of hours worked) for their projects, no matter which crew the worker belongs to. They can also approve these timecards directly from both the web and mobile versions of the app.

On mobile, new easy-to-use filter buttons (chips) for Project, Crew, and Other Workers help Project Managers see all time tracked across the entire project and manage workers who move between different teams.

    Notes

    • Scope Boundary: Employees marked as Project Managers can create Daily Reports (CDR) for their projects, but they cannot see or manage other users' timecards outside of those reports.

    Contact Support Email Improvements

Roles: All Users | Interface: iOS and Android

We have updated the "Contact Support" feature:

    • iOS Users: The email subject line now automatically includes your email address and a unique customer ID.

    • All Mobile Users: The instructions inside the email body - which ask you to describe your issue or request- are now translated into your local language.
